Professional's Choice | Magnetic Therapy Hasegamacher
Magnetic therapy can have a relaxing effect on the horse. Hare gaiters can alleviate common hock problems. The gaiters are made of neoprene with four-way stretch for a good fit and to keep the gaiters in place.

Professional's Choice writes:
Magnetic therapy is a drug-free, non-invasive natural treatment which can help relieve pain by increasing the blood flow and oxygenation of the cells to accelerate the healing process.
Increased blood flow brings oxygen to the area being treated and may help:
  • relax muscles and ligaments
  • relieve cramps and spasms.
Equine magnetic products do not contain irritants or chemicals.
Magnets that are well maintained and not exposed to high temperature (above 120°C) should retain their power for a lifetime.
The magnets are Bi-Polar and have positive and negative poles on the surface and are arranged so that both North and South poles contact the body. A magnet’s North pole (negative) has a calming, relaxing effect and helps to decrease inflammation. A magnet’s South pole (positive) has a stimulating, activating effect and helps to increase the circulation to increase blood flow and promote healing.
The magnets have a gauss range of 195 – 240. This is the range of the most therapeutic benefit.
